“ওভতাই পোৱাৰ প্ৰয়াস” is a special literary and creative initiative by ত্ৰাতৃ (Tratri) dedicated to discovering, encouraging and providing a platform to the emerging talents of Assam.
We believe that talent exists everywhere — in schools, colleges, universities, small towns and remote communities. Many young writers, poets, researchers and creative minds have wonderful ideas and stories to share, but often lack the opportunity, guidance or platform to bring their work before the world.
ওভতাই পোৱাৰ প্ৰয়াস is an effort to bridge that gap.
The mission focuses particularly on young talents aged 25 years or below, encouraging them to transform their ideas, knowledge and creativity into e-books and meaningful digital publications.
Developing and preparing manuscripts for publication.
Basic e-book formatting and digital publishing support.
Basic cover-design assistance for selected authors.
Guidance and support related to ISBN requirements.
Support for author profiles and e-book presentation.
Connecting young authors with readers and digital libraries.
The mission seeks to build a grassroots network across Assam by working with:
These Mission Partners can help identify promising young authors, create awareness, provide mentorship and encourage participants to complete their e-books.
Every participating educational institution may have the opportunity to publish up to five eligible student-authored e-books free of charge.
Every book represents more than pages and words. It represents the imagination, knowledge, experience and dreams of its creator.
Through the Tratri digital platform, we aim to make these works accessible to readers and preserve them through digital libraries and knowledge platforms.
The books published under the mission will be made free for readers.
This will help young authors reach students, teachers, researchers, libraries, literary enthusiasts and the wider community without financial barriers.
The mission is also conceived as a collective tribute to the legendary artist Zubeen Garg, whose journey demonstrated the power of creativity, courage and the ability to take Assam's language, culture and identity to a wider world.
With the author's explicit consent, e-books published under the mission may carry a special dedication to his memory.
Through this tribute, we hope to inspire a new generation to continue creating, expressing and contributing to Assam's cultural and intellectual journey.
